Common Symptoms Associated With TMD:
What Causes TMD?
Stress can be a major factor associated with TMD patients. When we experience high levels of stress, it can trigger a parafunction which causes you to grind or clench your teeth (bruxism).
Bruxism can be habitual or it can be an involuntary action that happens in our subconscious.

I have worn a mouth guard for 25 years because of grinding which caused; headaches, neck ache and jaw pain in the morning extending into the day. I had to take pain killers.
I now wear the Cerezen ear inserts and kept forgetting to wear the mouth guard. Now the mouth guard stays in the drawers and i have no pain at all in the morning. They are brilliant!! I would recommend them to anyone that wakes up in pain.
I have been suffering with TMJD pains for years. I was a bit sceptical at first as to how these devices would alleviate my symptons, but after wearing Cerezen for 2 months, i can honestly say they have made a world of difference. I've not had a headache since i started wearing them and the pain in my jaw has subsided.
One very happy patient!
